“Linda — Thank you, thank you!
You made the trip a real pleasure. We all had a great time. The ship was wonderful & the rooms were perfect, by the end I almost couldn’t care to have any more food. ALMOST!!

“People don’t always understand how important and valuable a good travel agent is. We travel often and although I do book some tours, etc., on the internet, I would never consider booking the actual trip without a professional. In my case, that person is Linda Francis at Carlson Wagonlit Travel. I can’t begin to describe how important and valuable her guidance and advice is. Our trips have always been amazing and Linda has played a key role in how good they are. Also, having someone who knows how to navigate the system guarantees that if something does go wrong, there is someone you can call from anywhere in the world who is connected to the right people to help! I have no fear of the internet, and I do research before I call Linda, but I will only book our travel and vacations through a pro. A hassle-free vacation is just way to important to gamble on.”

“We got home last Monday evening after a great holiday. We loved being in, and learning about the Balkans – from the Orthodox Church to the Socialist regime, we found it so interesting and the people very nice. We were very pleased with Viking’s attentiveness during the whole trip. They met us right at Bucharest airport and had an information table in the hotel. The coaches we travelled on were modern and air conditioned, and the guides very informative. We were impressed that on every excursion, a washroom break was planned along with free coffee and sweets. All our stops, lunches, etc. included samples of local food or drink and local entertainment. It was really enjoyable and showed a lot of attention to detail. Viking reps were set up in the hotel in Budapest which was comforting to know as we were on our own at that point. They were very helpful with flight information, making dinner reservations, etc. You were right, Budapest is a beautiful and interesting city! The boat itself, seemed brand new and the staff were great and could all speak English which is amazing. I feel we had wonderful meals, with lots of choices and the service in the dining room was excellent. Thanks so much for your help, Patti. We would certainly recommend you to other people as well as recommend Viking river cruises.”

“Shawn and I both want to thank our agent Betty Smusiak for all her hard work leading up our vacation. We had a great time! The accommodations were perfect for us. We had a ground floor room in Paris overlooking the courtyard with lots of room for all of our gear. The location could not have been better and definitely allowed us to get in as much sight seeing as possible in our short stay. The apartment in London was just as nice, with lots of room and fully equipped for all our needs. The location, again, was great with the supermarket and tube station right there. Charlotte had a blast and can’t stop talking about all the great things that she saw and got to do. It was truly something that we will never forget!”

“Our Travel agent Annette Hines was wonderful… she gave us great tips and told about the resort. Annette went the extra mile to book the room we requested and booked the zip line tour….which we had a ball. When we got to the pick up area for the zip line, our tickets of course looked different than everyone else’s because they booked at the hotel upon arrival. Everyone was asking how did we get our tickets and explained it was from our travel agent at the time we booked our trip. I loved our agent and have told everyone who asks about our trip that” it was great due to our agent. Thank-you Annette!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Patti Hewitt has been a great tour guide and companion on all the Founder’s Trips (11). She exceeds our expectations every time!! She is calm in emergencies, thorough in planning and always with a smile. Of all the trips each one has had it’s own highs and never a low. The Amazon was fabulous, Russia very interesting and the Budapest to Bucharest was eye opening for me. The city tours we did were also fun. I look forward to the next one. Africa here we come.”

“If you want to plan the trip of a lifetime or just a fun weekend, you could not pick a better travel agent than Lynda Sorrie. I have been planning trips with Lynda’s capable assistance for many years. Lynda’s has vast personal travel experience which is highly beneficial to her clients when she is planning their vacations. A recent group trip that Lynda arranged for me to the Amalfi Coast and Tuscany was fabulous! Everything was looked after down to the last detail and we all felt pampered. As a special touch Lynda was able to book us at a Villa in Tuscany that was a 15th century Monastery! These kinds of treats and surprises are the norm from Lynda. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for great service. She always makes you feel like you are her only client.”

“We are back from our holiday in Washington.
The Melrose was great! Thank you so much for your advice and help. The room was very spacious and the staff were very helpful. We walked into Washington each day with ease.
Once again Linda, thank you for your help. You made our stay very enjoyable.”

“Our first experience with Carlson Wagonlit Stewart Travel was when we booked back-to-back cruises on Star Princess from Fort Lauderdale to Copenhagen followed by a Baltic cruise. Just weeks before departure the ship was damaged by fire and taken to Germany for repairs. Its first post-repair cruise was to be our originally scheduled Baltic cruise.
We consulted with Patti Hewitt to try to salvage our vacation. She arranged a trans-Atlantic crossing on the Queen Mary II, train trips, flights and hotels for a 10-day pre-cruise holiday. We spent 3 days in London then took the Eurostar train through the Chunnel to Paris for a 3 night stay, then another train to Amsterdam for 3 days before flying to Copenhagen to meet the ship for our Baltic cruise.
After facing cancellation of a much anticipated holiday we ended up having an amazing adventure for which we thank Patti and Carlson Wagonlit Stewart Travel. Since that time we have arranged many more outstanding vacations through her and always found her to be exceptionally professional and efficient.”

“We are back from our Hawaiian vacation and we had a great time! The accommodations were great and the Mahana was perfect for us. With the grocery store just up the street and the beach at our door we had everything we needed. We spent most days in the pool or at the beach. From our fourth floor room we were able to watch the cruise ships go by, the amazing Maui sunsets and some dolphins splashing around with our morning coffee. The Old Lahaina Luau was thrilling for everyone. Our early booking allowed us to have front row seats and Charlotte watched the dancers while downing her tropical drinks and trays of desserts. Surfing turned out better than we could have thought with Charlotte being the star of the show. She had many of the spectators on the beach cheering her on as well as fellow instructors high five-ing her accomplishments. Thanks again for your help in planning this Betty!”
